Here is what the interns would do:
- Use modeling software, such as PVsyst and/or Python to predict production from PV plants under construction.
- Using Excel and historical data from existing PV plants, create waterfall loss charts to demonstrate sources of losses.
- Assist in projects such as engineering replacement inverters at existing PV plants with end-of-life inverters.
- Reviewing configuration of PV plants in 3rd party SCADA systems to verify that equipment is properly configured, so that the expected energy can be properly modeled.
- Proofreading reports, to check formatting and grammar, but also to provide feedback for improving report accessibility to non-expert readers.
- Creating written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists for use in streamlining Sounder Processes.
